sarrat game: dazed and confused

There's
just a little bit of confusion
though...And I hope that those of you who are stb experts in the game
will enlighten someone like me who's starting to get interested in airsoft but
has the brains the size of a single BB about the game..


In the final round of the Sarrat Airsoft Games, when only
the 3 best airsoft team entries were left (Hornet, INAT, Tigers), I did not
understand why INAT would place 2nd RU while the Tigers would be the 1st RU. In
the final RR-diffuse-the-bomb-scenario games: 1st game was played between
Hornet VS INAT, where the Hornet won; 2nd game was between INAT VS Tigers, INAT
won this time; 3rd game was between Hornet VS Tigers, again the Hornet won. I
was still expecting a second round of games but results were already declared..(ending
the round of games, i can still understand..but the results?!!! weird..it was,
and still is, where i got confused)..

Results: W L

Hornet 2 0 Champs

INAT 1 1 2nd RU

Tigers 0 2 1st RU


Isn't it puzzling? How the Tigers would win over INAT? No
questions on Hornet winning the game, but it is very confusing how the Tigers
with no wins and 2 losses would win over INAT with 1 win and 1 loss. Will
somebody please explain this to me? I mean, i may not know much about the game
and i have doubts that even with the point-system i know nothing about, it would
still be very unclear why INAT would place below Tigers...Don't you think so
too? I guess not..because it was perplexing seeing you guys happy with the
results.

I am posting this topic, not only to be enlightened by you
stb airsoft experts, but to leave you with something to think of. I think you
deserved to be 1st RU..Despite your content and happiness over the results of
the sarrat game, i still think you were robbed off a decent 1st Ru place...i
believe you guys deserve what is due to you..after all, i have witnessed how
you work as a team, your dedication/addiction, your hardwork, and some
male-drama i never knew also existed in a male-dominated (as i am planning to
join too, sana ) group..



But then again, I must be missing something here...so
please please please somebody enlighten me! Thank you.

hehehe! pinksniper you must've really missed somethin out there, hehehe.... considering the fact that N.A. was placed before INAT well it isn't such a big deal... its just a game after all, right? we are just humans and we are to err. but at the point where u are confused is that..... d only explanation and the only thing i can say about that is that.... we were not always present during discussions and organizers ought not to have committed a mistake with that cause it wasn't a decision of 1 person only, what i mean is that, they must've talked and thought about it well before declaring who the winners were. a'ight? if there would be any foul plays........... well.......... its them who would be cheating to themselves and not us. good day. =)

so confusing....ako nga mismo na naglaro eh nalito sa mga rules, protests....bla bla bla, etc...ewan!!!!

anyways....we did have fun and got a trophy for it...

jigs911: un na nga eh, game na nga lang, nilaro pa..? i am not suggesting any foul play...i just did not understand how the results came to be.. correct me if i may have misunderstood ulit (haay, ang sloow ko ata) did you mean na results could be altered to suit "someone's" preferences? just a thought...i still am not convinced kasi...peace man!

hello sirs! gusto ko lang po sana i clarify what happened during the sarrat tourney how the results came to be... just to eliminate your doubts on foul play...

FINALS GAMES:

Hornets vs. INAT Score: 11 - 9
INAT vs. NA Tigers Score: 11 - 10
Hornets vs. NA Tigers Score: 11 - 11

The scores came from the number of survivors from each team vs. the time. Since nobody tried to accomplish the mission, we are left with the survivors' body count instead.

add up the results of all final games to get the overall score

Hornets : 11+11 = 22
INAT : 9+11 = 20
NA Tigers:11+10= 21

That was how we drew up the score boards for the ranking for the finals. I think the team leaders were briefed before the finals began that it will be scored. INAT is already part of the top 3 and is already considered a winner. It was just a matter of ranking.

But anyway, everybody played well and we did what we could to manage fair play and fair judgement (pagpasensyahan nyu na lang po pala ung mga marshals naming madaling maginit ang ulo... hehe!).
