1st Tuguegarao City Pavvurulun Festival Airsoft...

In celebration of Tuguegarao City 2008 Pavvurulun Festival. The City Government of Tuguegarao in cooperation with Cagayan North Airsoft Group (CNAG) will be hosting the 1st Tuguegarao City Pavvurulun Festival Airsoft Invitational Cup, OPERATION: SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. This will be held on August 16 & 17, 2008 at Cagayan Colleges Tuguegrao (CCT) new site football field at Balzain, Tuguegarao City.

The management has decided that no teams from Cagayan will be allowed to have its entry in this tournament.

GAME RULES, REGULATIONS, & SAFETY

" Thou shall play airsoft with fun "

All players should be physically and mentally fit.

Safety Requirements:
- Face and Eye protection must be worn at all times during a game. We also recommend wearing of the above while watching the game and preferably at all times whenever you are in the tournament site.
- Wearing of T-shirts, short pants and sandals are not allowed.

Weapon And BB’s :
- Consider every gun loaded.
- Never point your gun to anybody/anything you do not intend to shoot.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until you fire.
- The management will be strictly implementing maximum of 450 fps with .20g BB's ( Average of three )and all weapons must be chronographed prior to the start of the tournament.
- Chronographed weapon with more than 450fps will be deposited temporarily at the management booth for safe keeping.
- There will be random checking of guns.
- CO2 powered weapons are not allowed.
- We advocate the use of not more than .25g BB’s .
- Secondary gun is not allowed.
- No bringing of any other form of deadly weapon otherwise specified above.

Magazine (Ammo) Limits:
- There will be no limitation in the use of any type of magazine.
- Reloaders are prohibited in the game proper.

Hit Regulations / Players elimination :
- BBs directed to the body and body extensions (Weapon, vest, pads ) is considered as hit.
- Friendly fire is considered as hit.
- In knife kill, the player must be carrying a weapon.
- Refrain from hit calling , only designated marshal is allowed to call hits in the game.
- In point blank shooting ( dukot ), the marshal will call the shots. However it is discouraged in order not to inflict unnecessary pain to your opponent.
- Do not hold or grapple the gun of your opponent
- Ricochet is not considered as hit.
- After being called hit, you must raise your gun above your head while proceeding to the designated place for eliminated players.
- Observe “Dead men tell no tales”.

Blind Shooting:
- Blind firing will not be allowed, If caught the player is automatically called out for that game as hit.

Radio and other communication gadgets will not be allowed during the game.

Do not hide behind non combatants / eliminated players/ marshals:

No player shall be under the influence of beer, wines, liquor and any substance abuse drugs:

Please park your vehicles properly at the designated parking lot:

Any deviations from this will be dealt accordingly:

MARSHALS DECISION IS FINAL:



Game Objective :

To extract Private Ryan from the enemy line in less than 7 minutes.

12 man team, 3 reserves

32 marshals per game with appropriate gears

Time allotted: 7 minutes per game

Time interval every other game : 3 minutes

Scoring system / Point system :

12 players x 10points = 120 pts.
Private Ryan = 80 pts
Total= 200 pts



Violations:

Yellow card violation: 10 points deduction
- Complaining to the marshals decision
- Hit calling
- Use of profane language to anybody
- Ignoring marshals call
- Blind firing
- Refusal to go directly to the designated area for eliminated players
- Breach in games safety rules

Red card violation: 20 points deduction
- Intentional hitting / firing at marshals
- Arguing with players / marshals while the game is still ongoing
- Ignoring marshals call of yellow card

Black card violations: 100 points deduction
- Deliberately destroying barricades
- persistent firing ( more than 3 seconds ) at an already hit opponent

Double Black card: expulsion from the tourney
- Playing under the influence of alcohol and prohibited drugs.
- Enticing fistfights with anybody in the tournament site.

Game Scenario

The game is a Close Quarter Battle, composed of 12 man per team. 1 player serves as the on duty guard with weapon while the rest of the team are lying down with weapon placed in a common designated rack (with magazine and in safe condition) near a common exit door of a made up room.

The first siren will signal the start of the game, simultaneously engage firefight with the enemy and initiate the objective of the game by retrieving Private Ryan ( a dummy will be provided, do not drag, carry him in your shoulder ) from his cell located in the middle of the war zone and bringing him behind enemy line.

The second siren will signal that the game has reach to an end.
