Operation: Junkyard Dog on July 14, 2007 @ Fort Ord, CA


Scenario

Bujumbura, Burundi circa 2003 – UNICEF has worked tirelessly over the years in its service to the people of Burundi. Its directive includes the delivery of food subsidies, basic health services, the sponsorship of childhood education and an aggressive HIV/AIDS prevention program.

However, a splinter group of the Forces for the Defence of Democracy, lead by Jean-Bosco, is threatening to disrupt UNICEF operations by seizing its vital supplies. Enraged by his ousting from parliament, Jean-Bosco’s has recently rearmed his FDD faction as an instrument of intimidation and control over the local population.
With the ruling government hesitating to take actions against former party members and fellow Hutus, 8th Battalion, SANDF has taken the initiative to protect and ensure the safety of the UNICEF mission in and around the capital city of Bujumbura.

Forces for the Defense of Democracy (FDD) – Civilian dress only, black t-shirt or top with blue jeans, no BDUs!
